Took my brand new Battle II 5000 for a spin yesterday for the very first time and I hooked a 20lb yellowtail using a Ugly Stik X2 (medium hard) rod kzbin.infoUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . This combo was recommended on some website and it did not disappoint me. The reel is smooth, the drag click is pretty cool cause i think it adds to the excitement of fighting the fish, personally the drag is my favorite part. I use braid and 300 yards will fill the entire spool. This combo is my main setup from now on although I have to disclose I am new to fishing.

Hello !Thank you very much for your comment.Actually,I don't sell such a kit or anything that might be assembled.I could provide you with some general instructions in regards to how I built the one shown in the video.However, you have to have some access to basic machinery such as lathe...Let me know if you are interested in more details.

Like so many others, I lost the use of one of my arms and want to keep fishing. You can find some electric fishing reels for sale at different websites like fishingabilities.com and mpowrfishing.com. The reels are expensive and not always as nice as the one Alex made, but if you can't make this one, they will get you on the water.

It is probably impossible to find the plastic housing in a store or something because I have created it for the needs of my motor.I used plastic as raw material and transformed it with a lathe.So perhaps, you should try it yourself with some similar tools, my friend.Thanks for your comment!!
