WOW......circular breathing on that last low note Chris? I bet you couldnt wait until he hit the last note? lol :)
@calebverdu30916 жыл бұрын
+Desert Blacksmith Hmm... are you sure? It is relatively easy for me to hold a note for twenty-thirty seconds and I am certainly not that skilled. He could indeed be circular breathing, but I doubt it's necessary. I rechecked the vid and he held it for less than fifteen seconds.
@desertdanblacksmith13946 жыл бұрын
yes you may be able to hold B flat that long but thats a Large bore horn and what was that note a pedal G ? In my prime I couldnt have held that note that long.......and he gave a Crescendo with it at the end......good lungs!
@calebverdu30916 жыл бұрын
I won't draw this argument out much more, as you know far more about this subject than I do, and the answer doesn't really matter either way. However, I will end with this: I don't even play trombone, (trumpet for only ten years) but I am borrowing one, so I pulled it out and gave it a try, and with minimal effort I was able to play a Bb two octaves below middle C for 15 seconds with relative ease. That would be a fifth above a pedal G correct?
@nathan-qo9rj6 жыл бұрын
Desert Blacksmith he is circular breathing. You can see him puffing his cheeks.

I bought the sheet music and I just got back from sight reading with my brass group (5 trumpets, 2 horns, 2 trombones, 1 Tuba, 1 drum set, 1 percussion) Extremely good reactions, several thumbs up’s. I personally love the arrangement. Be nice to have a drum part, but we’ll make due. The fire extinguisher part we are just going to stuff paper in a cowbell, should be about the same. Anyhow, I recommend this arrangement! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
