This is Jef going back to his roots. He grew up listening to this type of music, it's what inspired him to become a musician.

Rockaria was a song that made me delve into classical music, I hear many of the songs at that time inspired by classical music it broadened my interests and I can't thank them enough for that.

This song came toward the end of the band's career. Times and tastes had changed from their soaring 1970s heights years earlier. This was definitely intended to be a commercial hit for the masses. We know what you like. You might want to try the fan favorite "Tightrope," and the hits "Sweet Talkin' Woman," bluesy "Showdown," and the ballad "I Can't Get It Out Of My Head. They were well-played at the Wembley concert since you are looking for live performances.

Back to the 50's! Secret Messages had some great music. Lesser known songs like Stranger which I love.

Biz, if you want a song where ELO shines most brightly, you have to react to their 1976 classic, *"Tightrope".* You will love it! (Studio version.)

Hi!!! Great to see a reaction to my favorite band ELO, to this song wich certainly was a banger but not my kind of ELO song. I personally feel excatly like you since the first time I heard this song. It is fantastic, but it could not be necesarilly by ELO. My Favorite ELO albums are Face The Music, Out of the Blue and Discovery. Regards from Chile!

Hi Biz, I`d already known about the band Jeff Lynne was in before ELO, it was a band called The Move. They had a few hits in the 60`s but curiousity got the better of me after hearing your reaction. I did some quick research and found a song by The Move that featured Jeff, the song is called "What". I was amazed at how much this sounded like ELO.

He didn't like Rock n Roll is King. Do you really think he's going to like "Video" which has zero of the classic ELO sound?
