Such a nice detailed build quality review. Now how about a ride review. These things are availalbe now in the US and I might want one. Would love to see it against an Artic Leopard which has more power but is likely not built as well. I also wonder about the suspension difference between the x and xr and if the xr is worth $2k more.

Do you know if the battery is a Epure or Escape? One option for the rear for more travel is a long travel shock from R Racing Suspension in Cali. Guy adds like 1"-1.5" of travel depending on the shock/set up. He increases the droop on the shock that is how he gets the increased travel.

The battery is a standard 58v 50ah escape battery.

I want to buy the 2023 R, but don’t want to get that if the X is coming out…. LOL

As a customer I feel the same way but as a sales rep I can tell you, don't hold your breath. The R is vary capable and you can convert aspect of it to be similar. This bike is made for those huge jumps that most of us won't be doing lol for trail riding the regular R is a precision tool
