ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE EXPERIENCE IN TOKYO | CAKE Motorcycle Test Ride

In this video my friend Nami and I take a couple of CAKE ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES out for a test ride around Tokyo. She is on a 'shopping bike' called the MAKKA, and I ride a dual-sport 'dirt bike' called the KALK. Ripping up the mean streets of Tokyo in extreme style! We make a couple stops along the way at some iconic landmarks in central Tokyo, with a brief background on some important cultural spots, including Tokyo Tower and Zojoji Temple. HOP ON!

I do think you should use the 1 day rentals some of the dealers do and maybe do some sort of rider experience of certain models maybe Honda cub and Dax or monkey or similar

Triumph fan rides a fancy electric bike. A little bit unexpectable... :) Our Ukrainian guys also founded an electric bike company in 2014 - Delfast Bikes. On of their bikes even broke a Guinness record then with 228 miles on single charge. Now they even have a model for military use.

I ride a 72v e-bike in Shanghai which can get up to 55km/h and a range over 50km and costs around $625!

Min speed for me would be the 80kph range for metro, Otherwise you’ll be in the way of fellow road users I think the Makka should be regarded as an EV bicycle and able to be used on a footpath with kid carriers on front and back

Yeah Makka felt a little ‘unsafe’ due to the speeds being unable to keep up with traffic.
