I am less interested in electric vehicles because they lack power🤣

Very hard to get a feel for the curves on the bikes with the glare from the lights. They need to put a diffuser above the displays.

Hey Peter, love the streams as always. I have an idea for you. There is another Japan moto vlog channel called Kaito and Ori Moto Adventures. It would be AMAZING if you went cruising with them. They seem like nice people :) Discovered them as they went to my favourite moto gear shop in Yokohama. The Kushitani store in the Yokohama bay area 😁 Looking forward to more stream action!

I've been studying voice acting for the last year. Peter's voice is so buttery smooth! Does he offer any sort of voice coaching?

The one bike I loved to ride was the Yamaha TDM! I had an 850 and the twin engine was like a sewing machine, just kept smoothly pumping out the power while sounding quiet and so sweet! I now miss that bike, but I cannot find another in Thailand! It was a tall bike, similar to the Tenere, but perhaps a tad bigger, taller and great for touring! I don't like the looks of the Tenere today, the TDM was more rounded! Great show, thanks for sharing! I just bought an Aprilia SR 200 GT Sport and what a great looking scooter in metallic yellow and red wheels, that is pure Italian style, all part of the Piaggio group! If you are reading this and have not seen one, search Google, or You Tube, it's a feast for the eyes!

Beautiful beach, but the wind and the waves look kinda scary.. The statue on the other rock looks like a man standing. It looks suspiciously like.. a monk?

For someone who hasn't been able to get out of the city and see the mountains since the start of pandemic, this video is highly appreciated. Sorry I missed the livestream, Peter. Watching the road trip is so relaxing, didn't realize I needed it lol.. Thanks so much for taking us along, will have to check out previous camper van videos as well. Stay safe, healthy and inspired! 🧡💛💚

So natsukashii! It was the November just after Japan had reopened to tourists a few weeks prior that we were there on Lake Kawaguchi enjoying that same beautiful fall scenery. We were staying on the opposite shore near the entrance to the bridge so it was a treat getting to see the other side with its serenity where you were camped. Appreciated the shared philosophical insight about how we prize all the more that which is not always available. Looking forward to views from the continuing journey.

Beautiful colors and van life living. Nice to have the whole place nearly to yourself. A lifestyle very similar to my own. Nomadic and solitary.

Any idea how much would it be to camp on a motorcycle + your own tent? I've thought about gonig back to Japan but to focus on camping and road tripping
@PetervonGommJAPAN9 күн бұрын
there aren’t sizable discounts on bike vs. car. But plan on 3000yen / night avg. And fyi Guerrilla camping is NG. I’ve done it many years ago and usually ended uncomfortably. 😅

@@PetervonGommJAPAN hahahah good to know. If you don't mind me asking another question: are there still plenty of toll-free roads to explore and enjoy? I heard that tolls are super expensive even for motorcycles.
