Sir i didnt understand the last two examples..can u pls explain clearly why we are putting negative sign for current entering positive terminal

In first case we are talking about outside current (in the wire) entering the element. Whereas in second case we are talking about current flow direction inside the element itself. So both are same, it’s just way of looking at it is different. For ex : current in the wire is from +ve to -ve terminal of the battery. But what about inside the battery ? Inside the battery current is from its -ve to +ve terminal. So see , how things get reversed when u are talking about outside and when u are talking about inside the element. That’s why u got confused. Hope it’s clear now.

Sir,need one clear explanation.You have said that current is the direction of positive charge direction then the current is due to the movement of positive charges right but you are telling it is due to negative charge how is it possible

No, current is due to the movement of negative charges(electron), when electron moves from -ve to +ve terminal, by convention, we take the direction of current as opposite to the movement of electron, i.e., we take direstion of current as +ve to -ve terminal.

i have one doubt,we knew that current always flows from higher potential to lower potential.Then why when u explain the source ,in source why current flows from lower potential to higher potential.

Yaa simple there is a +ve means there is a -ve like way if current goes from High to low means we should do it for from low to high then our results will be in -ve ....

Sir my question is if a current flows from point a to b of potential Va and Vb then amount of electrical energy should be E=q(Va-Vb) but practically because of collision energy is lost in the form of heat then total electrical energy should be sum of thermal dissipation and used electrical energy but you are saying formula of themal energy is qv and joule's heating law also states the same then we get electric energy and thermal energy equal if we add both it will be greater than supplied energy this is what came to my thought please answer me and correct me I am waiting for the right answer
