is it hard or can a local bike shop build it. i am planning to get your system or a bafang. some of those with pedal assist off the factory are very expensive. if you are going build one what motor will you get? the bafang seems ok

Could I have your thoughts on weather this would be any good for a right leg above knee amputee. I originally bought my Kmx years ago when the company first started. But I found it to be too hard to pedal with my prosthesis on. And no matter what I did I couldn’t sort one legged peddling out. Would the pedal assist work with one legged peddling any input would be gratefully received. Thank you Kevin Ellis

Think it should work. The assist is pretty quick but you can feel a slight lag, thus I don't think it would notice one legged peddling. Consider a setup with a throttle so the guesswork gets taken out of it.

I have a Specialized Turbo Levo Comp E Bike. Although I didn’t build it I love it. Nice job 👍🏻.

@@zed4me yep, it wasn’t cheap. I got it before they raised prices $1200.

I see you turn the motor downside up. Good thinking, Does it help 100% avoiding any movement of the actual motor block?

It was turned that way so that with the torque it doesn't continue to spin. Also this orientation decreases the chance of it hitting anything. It works perfectly in this orientation.

Hi. Thank for the update. I am very interested because I have a KMX Viper similar to yours and I am undecided to which pedal assist system to choose: mid drive or hub, cadence or torque? How complicate is the TSD z2 to install? Your battery is 36V/15A. What is its average range? I am 68 years old, is it a good option for an older rider? Tks for your replies.

Hi, please refer to my part 1 video to see the ease of installation for the TSDZ2 Kit. My recommendations based on this video are mid drive, and torque sensing. I have not done a range test but based on similar builds this system should be able to do 30-40 miles assisted no problem.

Can you help me out and measure the rear dropout width? Can't seem to find it anywhere for this model.
@zed4me3 жыл бұрын
I believe it is 135mm standard dropout.

where did you buy the trailer? i can take my small dog

It's a Schwinn I believe. They sell these trailers with different brands, widely available, at any department store or bike store.
