Idk if i need a new tire tho
@techspac32 жыл бұрын
@@sebastiyaniii if you have a flat tire then you most probably need to get a new tire. Aliexpress is a good place to look for one that will fit your scooter. Just take the specs from your current tire. You can try to check for a flat by looking at the tire for anything that might look like a issue. Nails, damaged valve etc. If nothing can be spotted, take a spray bottle and fill it up with luke warm water and have some dishwash liquid mixed in aswell. Try to inflate the the tire. Have a small towel with you to wipe off any excesive soapie water when you spray it onto the tire and check for any bubbles being caused by the soapie water that you are spraying onto the tire. If you can see bubbles that will indicate to you where your problem is. Then you can swap out either the tire or the valve. Personally i would not try to fix a punctured tire with a tire whole stopper as it might through the wheel ballance off and also it might be dangerous for the rider. Rather replace the wheel entirely. Hope that helps.

I went through 3 tubes a garage mechanic and finally done it myself without watching KZbin videos. Put tire in oven and heat up to make more playable put tibe in screw back on valve so doesn't pop out or move, get fabric rachet from pound shop and zip ties and tighten the tire around the inner diameter. Pop back on. The mechanic couldn't even get it on. It's because they are so small and solid.

@@techspac3 yeah keep trying. I tried to get a MTB handlebars and stem holder but the local cycle shop guy said that they had nothing to fit!? I just mixed and matched and now have my new MTB handlebars on today. Much better riding quality and more solid. Will keep the old foldable one for long trips in motor's. Keep on riding bro

You have too many tools for the job , what i use are... 3 or 4 spoon handles ...... 4 or 5 big cable ties ..... a tub of grease .... and that's all.
@techspac32 жыл бұрын
Yes i agree for a person that have done it before and have a good technical know how, some of the tools are not neccesary, but i wanted to accomodate anyone on any technical level to be able to attempt it should they want to do it themselves, hence i included as much tools as possible to make it easier👍🏻

I have a Qiewa Q power 2... Yesterday, I swapped the off road tires out on it for street tires.. I was wanting to get the task done or at least started before my tire spoons arrived from Amazon.. I got to thinking.. An idea popped in my head.. If we can zip tie it to put the tires on the rim.. Why can't we do it to take it off the rim without spoons? 🤔. To my surprise, my idea worked.. I had both tires swapped out before the spoons arrived.. While the wheels were on the scooter, I used big channel lock pliers to squeeze the tire, slipped a zip tie under and to the other side and pulled it through and zip tied it while squeezing the tire with the pliers then I did that 4x more times.. Then took the wheel off the scooter, and was able to pull the tire off the rim without any spoons. 😁🔋🛴 I thought I'd share my experience.
