Ha - great project. I have an old snowblower that I've been leaning towards making into a trailer mule, but this looks so useful that maybe I need to figure out how to make it a multi-purpose device. My Craftsman blower has individual left/right clutch levers which should greatly help stability/maneuverability. I actually had one of those Neuton mowers back in the day. Expensive and pretty flimsy, but worked ok for our tiny city yard at the time. I'm amazed that a 500w motor and 240wH of battery capacity are so capable. I've bought into the Greenworks 60V system for most of my yard tools, and now you have me eyeing their tiny little 19" mower as a potential brushless motor donor. They claim 1500W, and you can get the 60V batteries up to 8aH/480wH. At almost $300 for the mower it sure doesn't compete with 'free', but it's not completely out of line with the cost of BLDC motor kits I've seen on Amazon.

Im a big fan of the part 2! I already want to build another one myself... Id like to make it electric so it's quiet, have a true differential, and i'd like to get a welder for my next build... my current one is A LOT of bolts and even some wood.
