Eight years off and you just described one of my new symptoms...that mid abdomen pain when sitting down!!! I thought it was my bigger benzo belly...so much new internal pain. Recent new symptom...I've had burning patches of skin, same spots for years...they've not manifested in a year but now burning itching under the skin in front shoulder area and upper arms. Keeps waking me up, attacking me through out the day...nothing relieves it. It fades then cones back...I SWEAR, every few days I get a new pain or strange sensation that cause panic attacks because my reptilian brain doesn't listen to my frontal lobes! I know what's happening , at least I hope all the weird chest pain s from BAIN, but at almost 70 the terror is real and present daily. My doctor thinks I just need the right AD!!! He refuses to believe my problems are from Ativan. Thanks for your video.

Burning in legs and small electric shocks bottom of feet. Severe spasms and pain under rib cage cage that make it hard to breathe. 5 and a half months out. I force myself to gym and walking one or 2 miles a day. Pain is bad enough where I just want to throw up. Eyrs burn at times. I seem to get some periods during the day where all this pain and burning eases up.I hope that means I'm getting better. Doctor doesn't believe me. Difficult to walk at times but I force it. Lots of inflammation. My ophthalmologist gave me drops for inflammation in eyes. Fortunately after exam she said eyes look good. 68F

@@freddumee it comes in steps it doesn't all heal at once so for every symptom there is a time frame. Here's the thing you have to be patient and focus on getting better day by day because its not just going to go away magically in one day. Once the toothpaste is out of the tube its hard to put the toothpaste back in. You're going to heal anyways its just how well do you want to heal. My therapist told me to try hypnotherapy and l was told the inner shaking of muscles was my body's way of trying to sooth me.... like a mother rocking her baby. I learnt to sit or lie when l am able to close my eyes and ENJOY it, and such is my luck it flipping luck it literally immediately starts to disappear. I wake with "tremors" every day which means l can no longer sleep in, but l at least can look at it differently in a way that honestly takes a while. Once you get it right, it's bizarre that the "rocking" almost immediately goes and lm left a little disappointed. My Benzo journey is complicated, but l am proof that there's something that the brain my be stuck in reactive mode, on this symptom. I still get the odd hot spot under my feet and my tinnitus is a new norm, here l turn the music up when lm alone in the car and for a while it's neutralized. Thank you Josef. Try doing a long water fast 5 days plus only water and electrolytes (salt in the water) to reset your system. Cut out all carbs and sugars afterwards eat only high quality beef(carnivore diet) with healthy organic fruits. Drink lemon watter to lower blood pressure. The nervous system needs to go back into homeostasis. The ssris and benzos throw your body chemistry out of wack. Ask God for mercy guidance and remove the toxic people out of your life. Ask God for wisdom and humble yourself. Confess your sins in your secret room out loud and thank God in advance for healing you. Give God praise and glory. Whatever it is you've done in the past God can forgive and restore you. Your soul is what matters.

@Itsjustme.369 yes that's what I did and that was the only way I healed over time. My withdrawal issues are minor issues now I'm almost 100% now. I listened to what God told me to do instead of trying to do it my way and yes i still struggle with why it all had to happen and yes i still get angry and frustrated from time to time and yes i want to do things my way now that feel better. But I know i could not have gone through it on my own no matter how much my ego tries to lie to me i know it was the hidden hand of God. So Its just a test of faith in the end its always there to see if you think you know better than your creator.

I have that pain in my diaphragm that you spoke about. I am glad you said it because it had me frightened. I have been tapering Xanax for 5 years now. Dr had me on 10mgs a day for 29 years. I started the taper when I was 67 years old. I am now 71. I am down to 1.5 mgs a day. Divided into 4 doses. I found that I have to dose 4 times a day. Or I go into acute withdrawals. If I take .5 mgs 3 times. So I cut the pills and I guess it adds up to my taking .34 4 times a day? After all this time. I still have very bad waves. But I do get windows sometimes. I have had 4 major surgeries in 4 years. And other medical problems in my life that were considered painful and difficult. I will tell you this. None of those other issues come close to the suffering I have had with working so hard to get off benzos. I in a way can understand why older people commit suicide. I will not. I would NEVER hurt my family that way. I have a very supportive husband and a grown son, and a wonderful daughter in law and grand daughter

I would recommend not tapering further. At your age wayyyy to dangerous to keep tapering. Taper more difficult when go down. Do not attempt! Also, ask yourself what is going to replace your current benzodiazepines when no longer in your system. By your age, especially if been on long time or high risk no mater how slow your taper.

I had to lay on my side for sleep because the weight felt too much on my back or stomach. I have gotten better than that but the odd sensations still drive me nuts and makes it hard to exercise. That feeling of having the breath knocked out of you woke me up it was so bad and sent me to the emergency room. They had no clue what happened. I'm still tapering off Clonazepam. I went from 3mgs a day to 1 mg a day since last August. My blood pressure is horrible and caused me to be hospitalized. I normally don't have high blood pressure. But coming off this drug too fast will cause autonomic dysfunction. I had to figure that out myself because doctors surely have no clue.

Hi I’d appreciate anyone’s response who’s experienced. Can it feel like a stomach ulser or something mine burns in the top right of my gut kind of abdomen area I have been so nervous it is a stomach ulcer. But I’ve noticed that it certainly has a connection to benzo withdrawal bc when I have mine I’m fine but when I start to go into withdrawal I can feel it starting to flare up. I am currently weening so I kinda stay in a slight state of withdrawal which has made it worse recently. If you see my comment and have good advice or have experienced this please leave me a reply. I’m stressing lol I really don’t want to have to get an ulcer or something I’ve developed bc of anxiety removed.

I’m sure Pregabalin would work, works much better than Gabapentin

I quit benzos for 7 years, and still had glitchy brain, involuntary twitching, hot flashes, and inability to think. Now my Dr is forcing me off of it because of a false positive on a drug test.. that I’m assuming was due to kratom I also take. It was for fentanyl.. and so every Dr I talk to is terrified of the DEA, and so I’m probably going to have to try some shady stuff to deal with my benzo issue. I never take street drugs.. I can’t even smoke pot. My kidneys aren’t 100% so street drugs terrify me… but I guess I’ve got this false positive on my medical record forever now😭🤷‍♂️
