Not all Hyundai EVs come with a Level 1 charger as stated in the video. My 2024 Ioniq 5 SEL did not.
@GregBirkin5 ай бұрын
That sucks, sounds like your dealer kept your charger. You should reach out and let them know if you don’t have a charging solution already like Level 2 at the house. Every car is required to be included with one, we’re on EV number 5 and each come with a Level 1 charger.

What is the temperature threshold that would require battery conditioning? Does it have a sensor to turn itself off automatically like when charging begins? I don't want to break anything!!

When is Hyundai going to address the over heating problem with Level 2 charging? It just shuts off after about 45 minutes. Houston we have a problem.

My 24 Ioniq 6 has never shut off during charging on a level 2 at my house or a DC fast charger.

Why is the guy at 2:00 charging like he is pumping gas? He doesn’t know he needs to back that thing up?

Norm Reeves Hyundai in Cerritos, CA, does not provide the level 1 portable charger on 2024 EV models, despite the fact that this video states that "all Hyundai electric vehicles" come with the portable charger.

Hi Hyundai if you are listening, please consider offering the 18” wheels with low rolling resistance tires on the SEL and Limited trim options. Thanks.
@Reddylion Жыл бұрын
Hyundai always listens to customers.. unlike many murican Companies. But any reason behind 18s, over 17s etc. If it's valid hyundai will provide to customers... if it dosent hamper performance, range, cabin noise etc.

Agreed, the 20" tires standard on the Limited really negatively impact range. It's forcing me into an SEL purchase, the opposite of what Hyundai wants to accomplish.

In Europe every Manufacturer including Tesla uses CCS. I know this is "HyundaiUSA" but to most countries this information is spot on.

When will EV’s be cheaper than gas cars? Do you think year 2027 is accurate?

We all know that for EV to become mainstream we need a charging infrastructure. Big oil will fight tooth and nail to keep the ICE money making machines going for as long as possible.

I HATE the 20 inch wheels on the SEL and Limited. They cost 50 miles of range, have a harsher ride, and the 20" rims are EXTREMELY vulnerable to curb scapes. I scraped THREE of my rims in the first month of ownership. STOP WITH THE 20" WHEELS!

Ok wtf. I have a model y performance and was hoping to get a second different brand electric vehicle. Level 1 may take 68 hours!? Level 2 may take 7.5 hours!? I’m going to stick for Tesla. I have a level 2 charger at home and from 40-80% it takes only 2.5 hours-3 hours overnight. How are you people waiting this long to drive an Ioniq!?
