Hi Pavan ,I think as long as we don't decarbonize electricity production ; focusing only on EV won't solve the problem. Please let me know your views on this.

7:20 Some US states like California is adding an additional $7,500 for EV purchase. That is why EV ownership in Cali is so high.

Pavan, EV's comes into the picture to reduce the burden on the fossil fuel and lower the pollution. But do you think that EV's are really furnishing the advantage for the environment?

Hi Sir, may I know what is the motive of the government rather than making pollution free.

I believe it would be GST income Swapnil. End of the day, Govt. also needs to make money while safeguarding public interests.

Hi Pawan, Great insights. I think, basic infrastructure is need to be developed even before incentives for customers and companies. I will not buy a car if i don't have charging station in vicinity (Right now i am just considering EV as intercity commuting due to lack of infrastructure but here also i am not much sure about charging station facility as compare to petrol pumps.) It seems like Govt has not come up with full plan to reduce dependencies on fuel.

How about a hydrogen based vehicle. Can it compete with EVs? the biggest biggest advantage i can see is the limited energy capacity held by these batteries which eventually affect the vehicle specifications.

Hey Rahul, Being a chemical engineer I can try to answer your question: Won’t go in deep but there is no comparison in hydrogen based vehicle and EV. For hydrogen the storage is quite difficult and it will take years to develop a technology that uses that as a fuel. In India it’s quite tough compared to developing countries like Germany which are working on it. 2) We can see EV’s mainly (small scale) to go far in future . And people will be afraid to drive a Hydrogen based vehicle nevertheless which is still in developing stage compared to a gasoline or EV vehicle:)

I found from internet that MBB firms look for spikes in our resume which is clear indication of that the candidate should have an iq above 130 or 125..... Is it a practical dream for a guy like me ,who is average in mathematics and from a tier 3 college to target MBB firms?
