What a cool idea! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. If I ever did make one (honestly, I am seriously considering it) I'd have to keep an eye on my nephew's because they'd definitely take each other for a spin in it 😉

Drilling into the spokes of the wheel is a perfect application for a stepped drill bit. If you get one, you won't regret it; cheaper ones are available for infrequent users.

Só Nice :) I have a 36v battery and (broken battery loader) from stihl...would you say I could do the same? What should I change? Any tips? By the way can it still drive backwards normally? Doesn’t it need brakes? Thanks 🙏

This never really worked going backwards which is a little tough, but I've figured ways to work around that. 36V battery I would think could work but I can't say for sure.... electricbike-blog.com/ is where the fellow who designed this shares lots of notes...

instead of an on/off switch can you have a variable speed switch like the one in a cordless drill?
@edibleacres3 жыл бұрын
It has a way to turn on/off but the main control is a thumb switch that provides very much variable energy to the system.

Very cool. Do you think it could pull you on a skateboard on some pavement?
@edibleacres5 жыл бұрын
It would fly on the pavement. Kinda too fast maybe?

The motor comes with a 'throttle' that was mounted on the handlebar...
