Jim - A very big and sincere thank you. I'm a 42 year old that has struggled with ADD most of my life (just recently diagnosed) and your teaching method helped me follow along and actually understand. I can't wait to see your other videos. Really, thank you! Chris in NJ

Thank You so Much Sir Jim...Now the next thing that I need to do is Hands-on for I'm done with the Theory already and that's all because of you. I've been following your videos on Hydraulics and it really helped me a lot..Great Teacher.

Great!! You just hit to the point where the question arises.

@breedist Yes, on retraction, the oil from the cap ends would flow to the tank. The arrows in the schematic representation of the cross connected position aren't meant to imply "one way", you'd need a check valve to do that, they just mean "connect P to B and connect T to A". Great video! Thanks. What is the advantage of a holding circuit as opposed to having your "on" switch (in the example at 35:00, "PB2") be a fixed-position lever that simply stays on or off?

I have been watching all of your training videos. Thank you. Is there a site where I can find all of them in order? Have you ever used fluid simulation software? Would love to see your drawings come to LIFE!

You likely need another sequence valve in the rod end line of the clamp cylinder to keep the workpiece clamped while the press cylinder retracts. Don't know if unclamping and retracting the press cylinder at the same time is the best scenario.

Hello Mr. Pytel I found some discrepancy in the last example. The flows from retraction of cylinders are going to stream where?Logically to the hydraulic oil tank but the arrow (Solenoid B) inside of the DCV is drawn inthe wrong direction Am I correct ?

My education is so worthless. 2 years and it took a KZbin video to explain this concept. Does anyone know where to get a QUALITY, career-oriented electrical education in/around Omaha, NE?
