I opened my book, tried hard to understand the concept multiple times, failed, came here watched the video for once....and now I clearly understand every bit of it. I wish I had such teachers who can make things easier to understand.

Hi sir, About 4-5 years ago I had watched this video and all the other electrical engineering basic one on the night before my reattempt exam for Basic electrical engineering subject for my computer engineering degree,that was my last attempt and if i had failed i would have had to take a gap year. Your videos were the only ones that made sense and having watched all of them i was some how able to clear my exam about 20 marks section was delta to y,rest was all circuit theorems. Thank you,hadn't i had discovered your videos the night before i could have failed my tests.

Where does the eqn r1+r2+r3/r1*r2 come from? re-writing this I have that 1/ra = 1/r1 + 1/r2 + r3/r1*r2. I can't see how this last term ( r3/r1*r2) is derived from the diagram

If there is more than one path the current can take it is a parallel circuit (the current splits into two paths). (A series circuit means that the current much pass through every element of the circuit.)

But we are planning to create pdf notes that can be used for studying, but that takes a lot of time and with my multiple jobs, I just don't have the time at the moment. That conversion is not needed. Once you have a circuit in the star formation it is easy to find the currents and voltages.
