In other day, i had a tool that in contact with voltage, it will turn on a light bulb inside of it (it was transparent), one side of the light bulb would connect to the cable and the other i would connect with my finger, so grounding it. Then I tried it on a output of a transformer (AC to AC), but it turned on only with one of the cables. Doing a little bit of research, i figured out the one the lit up, was the phase wire. My question is: Wasn't supposed Neutral to lit up? because, we consider 0 volts only in relation to the other phase, or is Neutral wire grounded too?

How can using 3 or four wires be more economical than using a 2 wire system someone explain pls.

The key benefit is balancing the load. You also end up with less current required for providing the power which results in less line loss. (The advantages are explained in the video)
