Guys! There’s a three button piece under that air vent ( timestamp 20:25) . One of the buttons actuates the dash so you can choose whether to have the dash up or down while driving. They first implemented it on the Senna’s!

Pretty sure the battery is a Lithium Ion type, light weight battery. If it’s below threshold voltage it won’t charge or take charge. And there’s a battery sensor built is the battery, which also may cause the issue.

I agree with u 100 percent my brother is mechanic and he is ase certified and he is certified to work on electric vehicles and he said the lithium ion batteries on electric vehicles and some cars are not good and not good for the environment he said there not like regular batteries that can desolve lithium ion batteries never desolve and they are worse for the environment and this is what our useless president and democrats in congress want everyone to switch over to electric vehicles I will never do that I will stick gasoline cars

Not at all suggesting I know more than Mike. But in my project cars, if I let the AGM batteries die from sitting, I have to put a regular battery in between the charger and the AGM battery in order for the charger to charge up the AGM battery. Might try this before spending 6600 on a new one? Honestly love the videos with these 3 more than the regular videos!

Mike had the Fluke on A/C voltage when he tested the battery and it showed nothing. Tim had it on D/C when he got the 12.8V at the 30:17 mark.

Mark, Mike and Tim have made these videos so much fun to watch. Hopefully the 720 can be fixed faster but there's always something wrong that causes the rebuilds to be delayed. There is a lot more cars that are around that can be driven in the meantime like Dave's 599, the KB43VER tribute car, Dave's Squadra Corse, the 550, and Mark's Honda Civic. 4:07 used to work as a tow truck driver. Our company had these long hard plastic sloped wedges with a big bulge at one end. Designed for the wheels to come up onto the top surface, but be stopped by the big bulge. The plastic wedges had much less surface friction and so when winching, THEY would slide along the ground rather than the wheels on the wedges. We referred to them as “magic skates” - as they effectively allowed the car to skate if stuck in park or E-brake won’t disengage, and that was a big help, was magical. Hence the name. Might be something to look into getting a set of.

Hey Mike. Not sure if you got your battery issue resolved. I just went through this last week with my 540. The Lithium battery is possibly in sleep mode. Directly jumper the battery with a fully charged lead battery for 2-4 mins and check the voltage on the Lithium battery. It needs to read above 12.3 volts. If it does then put it immediately on a lithium charger. Hopefully it begins taking a charge. Mine read 3volts and the Lithium charger would go into fault mode until I did this as a last ditch resort. I did this with the battery out of the car. I ended up getting a battery emulator anyways from SuperCar garage ATL so I'll never have to worry about the battery again. The guy there was awesome to deal with and really helpful. Going to take this battery apart and see why its worth almost $10k Cdn. good luck!!!

This reminds me of when mat Armstrong was rebuilding his Porsche with Freddy. He figured out that the new cars used a lithium battery for all the electronics. They had to get a new one from the dealer. They tried everything before they caved. And it worked. I think it hold amps longer

I have a feeling that because you took the brake caliper off, it is in gear if you re-pressurize the brake system it will come off gear... Also you need to get radiators with metal end tanks....
