Well done electrical work! He did it correct. For your safety, please make sure to add a neutral-ground plug in your generator if it is an inverter generator and the N&G are not bonded. With all the metal in he trailer, if something goes wrong, the generator could keep running with your conduits, boxes, and metal trailer parts could be energized.

Um i don't know about only one electric set up ,,,iid still have both , last thing i want off grid is a noisy gas generator going when ever i want power and seeing you have no windows that means any time your rig is closed you need to run you genny , ya id think real hard about this guys , im spending the money and doing 12 and 110 true off grid means not having to run into town for gas and also not annoying other campers with my gas generator running all the time ...id rather spend the money on a double set up then be out NOT enjoying my camping .....ya its going to cost about a grand to ad solar but when your out camping and everything works in any situation , its priceless...........

Can you provide more detail on how you maintain the smaller battery for the water pump? Do you put an outlet down there with a battery tender semi-permanently connected to it?

the only difference is the put put put of the generator usage, i know the honda's are quiet and all that good stuff, eventually ill get a generator, but im building a 12v system to start, when we get our fourth battleborn, ill change it over to a 24v system and the only change ill need at that point is the victron multiplus 3000vac, with 600w solar and shore power/gen - the system is starting smaller, but with the full capability to max out at 24v 200ah DC, with shore/gen plug ins - we'll be able to be off grid for upto a week, our only bottleneck will be food capacity, but our camp and power system will be more than sufficient for our needs. I like your setup though it is clean and simple.
