For some reason the GRU routes are prone to delays.. I did a few DFW-GRU and JFK-GRU recently and 2 of the 3 flights were delayed. What I do appreciate about the AA service is that they do serve breakfast 45 minutes prior to landing, sometimes 30 minutes depending on the crew, unlike some other airlines that stops service like an hour before landing.
