OS3. OMRON NA HMI and CJ2M PLC Communication and Variables Configuration

THat is exactly what I was looking for. Even Omron Manual specific to NA - CJ2H does not talk about doing NET VARIABLE. As soon as I did that, HMI was talking

I am wanting to change my subnet to 255.255.240.0. It will not let me connect once I do this. Will this require extra steps?

Does EIP_ Need to be added into the tag name to connected via EIP?

Don't have to, but adding the prefix allowing you to identify your tags' role very easily.
