nice video sir but , I couldn't get that when at starting condition the alternator rotor will rotate along with diesel engine shaft , at that time we don't have DC source for excitation due to the winding are not producing current bez we only rotating the winddings in rotor side of alternator and not making them as magent this is at initial time startup condition, so how we overcome this

Nice question. For this, an external dc source or rectified ac source is used at starting....this arrangement is called field flashing.

I've one question. The generator is connected with bus through step up transformer. At rated load there will be the %Voltage drop equalent to %impedance of transformer. Does AVR have to carter that drop also? or it will be reflected it in Armature reaction ?

Dry type transformers are normally used when the rating is not too high & there is facility of keeping it indoor. Dry type transformers require almost no maintenance & economic too.
