Sir , you have wonderful explanation power. I passed out BE under retired IIT prof. But even after did 10 years job in transmission sector , Gujarat , still I didnt understand the vector group and vector group test. But today I understand the same and clear the funda. No matter your video has less attractive graphics , but if one want to clear the funda , then your videos are the best one among all KZbin clips. Thanks a lot , m going subscribe 👌

Dear sir, Pls. show the video vector group of -D/Ydiii Transformer.
@electricaltechnologyandind53355 жыл бұрын
It is a very uncommon vector group. Not used often, but you can check it by theke technique shown in the video. However I am keeping your query in mind, and I shall try to make a video

Why we need vector group?, why we're going for shift ?, what will happen if we use same phase angle as of generated without shifting?. What's necessary of phase shift for transmission and distribution. Explain me
@sriramprakash974 жыл бұрын
With out phase shift we cannot produce rmf
@AbdulRashid-pw8dq4 жыл бұрын
@@sriramprakash97 i don't think so, then you're saying generation Voltage and current from generator doesn't have RMS?
@anuragverma48634 жыл бұрын
@abdul ,It is imoortant to test the vector group because of the unwanted circulating current ,which produces heating effect . Power grid is supplying the same vector group and we are connecting our transformer to that .so vector should be matched and no phase shifting and no circulating currents .

@@anuragverma4863 Sir how to calculate fault current of a plant and how with detailed explanation
@anuragverma48634 жыл бұрын
@@sriramprakash97 Its a long calculation. We dont talk about the plant , we calculate fault current with respect to source . Source is key factor and it supplies the fault current . So while selecting the circuit breaker or any panels ,consider transformer fault current , generator fault current , cable also plays important role, and during fault ,motor also supplies fault current ,rather than to take supplies. Transformer fault - full load current / percentage impedance . Gen fault - full load current / reactance, X '' Cable - MVA(short ckt) = (KV)^2 / Zcable. Add it. For motor , generally add 4* full load of transformer of you dont have data of motor. Thats it.
