Thanks for the complete review, it answered exactly those questions that you can't find out from the Specs or Overview on the website . Good job.

Are the handlebars adjustable so they can rotate further upwards?
@ElectricBikeReport Жыл бұрын
You could loosen up the stem and rotate the bars for some small adjustment, but without adding spacers to the stem, the handlebar height is not adjustable.

Can I ride it without pedaling? I don’t think I understand how these work… help me out dude, and can you use it if it’s fully dead?
@ElectricBikeReport3 ай бұрын
This bike doesn't have a throttle, so you can't ride it without pedaling. But you can pedal it fairly well if the battery dies.

Nice review. I'm looking forward to buy a commuter e bike. Should I prioritise a belt driven one or not necessarily? I already have a high end carbon road bike and I'm familiar with the maintenance
@ElectricBikeReport3 ай бұрын
Belt drives are nice, but they're not necessary. There's a reason chains are still around: they're tried and true, even if they require a little more work. That said, I'd say belts are worth it when paired with an IGH or CVT.

@electricbikereport Do you think this bike is suitable for someone who is 6'4" tall?
@ElectricBikeReport5 ай бұрын
They have an XL frame size that should work for you!

Hey Guys. Happy New Year and greetings from Ireland. I'm trying to decide between the AGO and the Trek FX +2. They both cost about the same here and while the AGO gives us 80nm of torque and the FX 2+ has 40nm, the Trek did slightly better on the hill test. Is this down to the weight of the bike?
@ElectricBikeReport11 ай бұрын
Happy New Year! So you're on the right track with weight being a factor, but the difference in motor placement also contributes. Rear hub motors usually do a little better than mid-drives since they sort of push the bike along. On those two bikes, the difference is pretty marginal though. They're very different bikes, but also both really great choices!

I just completed assembly of the AGOX and before going for the first ride, I noticed that the left brake lever goes staright to the handlebar with no braking action in the rear wheel !! Any idea as to problem ?
@ElectricBikeReport Жыл бұрын
Sounds like it may not have brake fluid?

I would love to see some of the features on the other AGO bike incorporated here. For instance, a drop in battery from the top, gates, belt, Drive, and the Eviolo rear hub. And why not throw in the adjustable stem and upswept handlebars as an option?

is this comparable vs the Orbea Kemen?
@ElectricBikeReport3 ай бұрын
Yes, I'd say they're fairly comparable, although the Kemen generally has slightly higher end components. The AGO X is still outfitted well for its price though.

If they’d put a belt drive on this with a geared motor instead of a chain and derailleur that would’ve been great.
