No way I would go back to riding a non-E-bike... I feel tired just watching you guys ride up those hills... and it is so slow... I love my NEO 29er!

That's a great bike! Yeah, it's definitely different riding an ebike, you can cover way more ground in the same amount of time

She's a dynamo, you may have your hands full. Been watching your channel for a couple years now, not quite ready for an electric bike but I enjoy your reviews. Maybe some more gear reviews as well? The Bell Super 2 was a nice one.

Court, these are turning out to be fun videos and I greatly enjoy them. I tend to ride alone so it looks like fun to have a partner along. Trying to talk my wife into riding with me. 😀 Btw, where is Monica from? She sounds like she's from a spanish speaking country but not sure which one. Anyhow, fun video. 👍

I'm just catching up on your videos from the past few days, and going to be watching the others shortly. I really like that dash board at the bottom of the screen. That's all the info you could really want until you get into the ebike again. Then does it have any info on the battery state of charge or anything? That would be cool to watch as you go on rides longer than a few miles. I know this was just more of a quick fun ride with a new bike and the girlfriend, who by the way is a fine as frog hair, split fours ways and sanded or in other words, you're a damn lucky dude to have a woman like that. I like the way you supported her and encouraged her as well. You're a good man in a world where few good men are left. I was wondering, did she get a water bottle carrier on her bike? I know that's one of your items on the check list when doing reviews. haha Keep up the great work, and looking forward to seeing more riding videos as well as reviews.

Thanks for the compliments, I care about Mony a lot! She's a great person and an awesome support... we have a lot of fun and actually just went riding again yesterday! Her bicycle does indeed have a bottle cage, it's right below the rear shock. She's loving the bike and really impressed with how well it climbs. Her older bike didn't have the gear range and was heavier even though it was a hardtail :D
@MakThaNife6 жыл бұрын
Man, that trail is nice! Her handlebars look uncomfortable though. Why are they so low on modern bikes?

@ichtube7 жыл бұрын
You sounded so patient with her. You kept saying this means easier that means harder, dumbing down your language. That was interesting. Btw, how do you get the info at the bottom. That looked very cool. Unless it's a secret.

Thanks! I've been experimenting with some different ideas (like the gps ride stats thing) and it's fun to go riding with friends and get different feedback... Later this year Mony and I will test some ebikes together and I feel like she'll have some interesting perspectives to add :)

Nice VIDDY Cort! You found an overlay app! :) what did you end up using?
@ElectricBikeReview8 жыл бұрын
I bought a Garmin Edge 1,000 and used the data from that to build a custom dashboard. The plan is to do more rides in different places and let people scrub forward and back using the little map thing to see different parts of the trail and consider going or just get inspired about cycling! Any places you'd like to see?! Bought a regular bike because some places don't allow ebikes yet and I want to follow the rules there. I'll also be doing a head to head comparison of the Levo vs. the Stumpjumper since they share a similar geometry and come from the same company :D
@AccidentalBroadcast8 жыл бұрын
+ElectricBikeReview.com wow, very cool! I love all the realtime data it provides! I'd love to see an elevation ride. Something that shows what a full charge can really do via mid drive. I've been riding my little 52v 7ah all over the place and am close to pulling the trigger on a 60v 24ah! I love this ebike world to say the least. So stealthy

Do a review on your Garmin! I have an old Edge 800 but they to have advanced so much since then.
@ElectricBikeReview8 жыл бұрын
Cool, I'd like to do a review like that eventually... so many things to check out on my list right now!! Planning to use it a bit longer before reviewing so I can gain some insights. Anything in particular you're interested in seeing or learning?
@gonesellin8 жыл бұрын
Cool, I would say I'm want to see how good the mobile sync features are? To have phone messages come through while you're riding would be so convenient. Also how good the maps are. I have maps for my country on the Edge 800 but I find the screen is a bit too small and low res to really be useful. I wanted to use it for walking around while travelling in Europe but it was too much bother.

Yeah! Added those overlays and picked the arrangement and color... Used the Garmin Edge 1000 data, edited the video once in iMovie then the Garmin Virb software. Turned out pretty good :D

I just bought aw 48v 1000w ebike kit from ebay, it was 175$ plus another $50 for standard 12v 7.2ah 4 pack SLA battery pack to stat off with, i will eventually upgrade to either additional 4 pack for serial/parallel connection of SLA or go with building my 18650 pack. I plan on doing a build / review video of my bike and thought about sending it to you. @electricbikereview.com
