Bless you both. as a black man myself I appreciate some of the questions answered. I believe that your husband should continue talking about the work of an electrician and the journeys he has had. Could inspire the black youth looking to get into the trade. Thanks

My man had me when he said “when you bend a good piece of pipe and it’s there”. These are facts I love driving by a high-rise to be able to tell my kids. Yeah, I did that!

As a black electrician in Tampa , you get my respect . I know exactly how you feel driving by some place or going back to a job site and taking pride in the fact you did that work . We love working with our hands and minds ,a lot of people don’t truly understand with out electricians ,construction workers and others the world don’t run .

Definitely. We need construction workers!

I'm a senior in college right now about to finish a computer engineering degree but I hate working in an office. I really appreciate all this advice y'all are giving because I want to try becoming an electrician because I think it'd be much more fulfilling than the work I do now. Respect from Alabama .

If you can get an office job then take it. Electrical work is often times hard work. Your body will thank you for working in an office.

Great video guys! I really believe after watching some of your content that it’s more beneficial to be an electrician in the states as opposed to the UK! Please keep doing what your doing as this is very insightful 🙏🏾. Thank you

I'm an union electrician and will receive 3 pensions every month when I retire. Some locals even pay 4. What do y'all non-union guys get when you retire? I'm curious 🤔

You absolutely can work privately as a union member, you take a salting class and you are 100%allowed to work non union and union dues are $34. If $34 is going to break you then you have bigger problems. I'm currently on the F1 job in Vegas and my checks are around $6,000 every seven days. It amazes me when people do "union" videos based on what they heard vs actual facts.

Also a question for you husband. Are you able to leave your union after a certain time period or amount of years to become your own contractor? How does that look like or work out ? (Hopefully my question makes sense)
@ethanroberts092 Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thanks so much for your positivity and feedback. We really appreciate it! To answer your question, since he’s not in the union he does not know how that goes exactly but he’s sure each union hall has its own rules on how to do that so I’d ask that before joining.

Can you please make a video explaining the difference between choosing the 5 year electrician program and the 3 year teledata / communication or wireman program .? It would really help me understand the difference thank you
