THANK YOU. I have been watching videos about this for hours and none helped with my issue. While troubleshooting I was listening to KZbin and you answered. My breaker has been tripping instantly, so time for me to chase down a short. Great explanation and very detailed.

@2:15 Thank you for the advice. I found out what was tripping my outlets in the kitchen, it turns out that the combination of a Carbon-monoxide detector, and a Ring door bell chime were too much causing my Keurig to flip the breaker every time. So far once I moved these to another area in the house it all went back to normal

I wish I had seen this earlier. I have a fast tripping breaker. Unplugged everything, still tripping. Found a few areas in attic where squirrels had chewed through insulation causing shorts. Looking now to replace those two runs of wire. Hopefully that’s all.

My breaker started tripping after going through and tightening the lugs. I removed all the loads, but it keeps popping. I removed the breaker. Any ideas what it could be?

Maybe my power supply on my pc is failing, breaker often trips after a some hours of having the pc on, power switches back on fine and a light next to “arc fault” lights up briefly but goes away, power stays on but if I boot up my pc without letting it rest it goes out again, I had assumed the outages were because of the extra traffic from my brother moving into the next room or potentially from a new surge protector I got but I don’t know to be honest, going to try buying a new power supply thanks for the information.

This makes sense I have old treadmill it barely starts when I hit start I think that might be causing my brakes to trip 👍🏻

Sir, my 20 amp Circuit breaker came out of slot. How to I reattached my Circuit breaker back into the slot. Do you have any advice besides calling the Janitor of the apartment building. Thanks for your help. Larry

One side of my house power went out. Just one bedroom, bathroom, hallway where the tv is in the living room and my outside light on that side of the house. But all through out the house i have power. I check all circuit breakers. One pop back to off so i ran to Lowes to buy one put it in and its still tripping. What can be the problem.

My breaker trips whenever I load high demanding video games running from my PC. I only have my computer plugged in one breaker. I separated the rest of my device(Monitors, speakers, TV, etc.) on another breaker but it is still tripping. The trip usually happens when I load the game and I'm in a game for about 3-5 mins then it trips. If I'm not playing any games it would not trip at all. Any advice? Thank you in advance!,

The arc fault breaker cuts out immediately after reset. We have not added any additional devices to this circuits. I disconnected all devices that I thought were connected to this circuit and reset breaker but the issue persists. Help!

What about this. We have a breaker that has an outlet in the garage one on the front of my house and one inside the living room. We had a fridge in the garage for months and it was fine. We then used the outdoor outlet with an extension cord to pressure wash our house. After that situation we cannot have our fridge plugged in in the garage anymore. It trips the breaker.

Hey man....got a situation with a breaker tripping randomly and after a couple minutes....nothing on the circuit to overload it, but they do have standing water under the mobile home. Could that be part of the issue?

I have a breaker that keeps tripping with nothing on it. It trips instantly with a little spark. Been taking all light fixtures and switched apart. Have not been successful yet. But if I switch the breaker back on another light from a different circuit dims quite a bit. Anyone have any suggestions?

This whole apt complex where I live goes off day and night. Nothing plugged in to some of them. Nothing stats on. Can't properly cook. Been this way for years and we get told it's normal. Hello. I'm not stupid. They won't fix them. I pushed the button back in so much trying to cook ,the button doesn't want to stay in without a couple of times.

My house was built in 2019 and within 1 year my dishwasher/disposal (on the same breaker) trip and it won't go back so i left it as is.. now 3 years later this happened recently my refrigerator , microwave and washer starting tripping all at once and I'll go reset the breaker but they end up still tripping few minutes later or so..I have unplug everything and shut down the main breaker switch and it still trip when those things were unplugged. I don't know what to do now.
