No need to apologise for your content it's top notch. 👌 Washing machines are a funny one with water regs all depends on what the inspector classed the end use as I guess. The amount of plumbers you see not putting any backflow prevention on them is unreal though. I know they're air gapped internally but cheap hoses can leach chemicals out. Onwards an upwards though 😊 hope the pressure eases on you a bit soon. Enjoy your weekend 👍

Poor standard and lack of consideration by the Sparky, also that cable I would have run mid-way through the joist, to avoid screw damage and then keeping it away from your pipes. You accepted it a lot better than most Plumbers would ..Great video so informative.

It is the inox version that is designed to cut stainless pipes, the thing is a beast, I've had that blade in it since new and have cut stainless pipe as well and it still cuts like new The run time on the battery is also so much longer, it sounds impossible but I've only charged it once since I started that huge first fix with all the copper, it lasts ages, I imagine it will do at least a 1000 cuts on a battery, thanks for watching as always 👍

Washing machines are a funny one, as far as I know it depends entirely upon the use of the washing machine, what sort of setting it is in and how it it is being used, my water board ask for a double check valve as standard before any washing machine valve, I used to fit the ones with the built in check valve but they don't comply. To be honest, It is all a bit of a farce really as they only inspect those who are doing, or trying to comply with the regs. I get inspected and are supposed to fill out a form every time I touch a wholesome water pipe. The amount of rubbish installs that you see, and the amount of social media plumbers who still think check valves in outside taps are OK is scary, rant over, thanks for watching as always mate

Soldering looks fine, mate. You must have some very fussy inspectors in your area. Get to see all sorts of rubbish plumbing on new builds round here, but big developers employ their own inspectors so hardly surprising, its not in their interest to flag up stuff that's wrong.
