Back in the 80s, I used to live in Germany. My stove, like all in Germany I believe, had a 3 phase supply. I presume that's the reason for the complicated 5 core cable and connector? So that the same appliance can be wired single or 3 phase?

Have you SEEN how many sparks they spit out when Stick/TIG/MIG Welding? or again when grinding their welds down?...Besides, Sparks are the LAST thing an Electrician wants as those are the result of BAD THINGS happening with the Electrical Circuits...
