Hey bud, just a heads up: That's not a dual motor scooter. It's got a 350 watt motor in the front hub and nothing out back. Take a closer look at the wheel. Anything that looks like a mag wheel off a car, or that you can look through to the other side is just a wheel. I don't know how excited I'd be to ride any scooter in the ice, but at least this one has the battery pack mounted on the stem, which puts all of that weight over the driven wheel.

hey ESG, i have noticed that on the written review it says that the top speed is 15.x mph but in the video i can see it go above 16/17 up to 20 mph

Couple of things going on there. Those higher speeds were probably attained while going down hill. With electric scooters, a tiny amount of elevation change makes more difference in your speed than you think. In an entry level, sub 500 watt motor scooter, you'll be surprised how little slope it can handle before you're kicking it along to help. If you live in a hilly area, buy something with a little more power than you think you're going to need. Also, The speedo reads a little bit high on every scooter I've ever ridden. If you take a speed reading using one of the apps on your phone, you'll notice that your actual speed is always 5-10% lower than indicated.

If you want a Powerful well made Scooter. Apollo Pro, Mantis Pro,Eagle One Pro. X-7 Pro scooters are good for Entry level but you can cruise pretty fast for commuting. That's what this Scooter is for communiting.

Trina made a very good point concerning the battery/stem location - the CoG is indeed significantly bought forward. Something to be aware of, methinks. Also, insofar as I'm aware, Cruise kicks in after 6 seconds constant, but disengages immediately upon the brake and/or throttle setting being changed. Thanx folks.

​@@PF234 All those brands are acquired from the same manufacturers in China. All those scooters are clones of several common structures. Those scooter manufacturers in China offer foreign name brand buyers the few models to choose from and paste buyers' brands on them.

Gotrax is superior. Levy plus with two batteries will only get you 11-16m of range

ESG has a review where they compare the G4, the Levy, the Xiaomi 365 and the xr elite. The xr elite had the longest range (16,6) compared to 8-9 for the Levy. The latter was faster though. It's called Gotrax G4 Hit or Miss.

I'm watching this video pretty late becuz I just actually ordered one of these 15 minutes ago....I'm an adult at 215 lbs and also a beginner w scooters.....I bought a razor 300hd on my first attempt last week rode it for 20 min b4 deciding I'm just to big for it an despite the max load being 220lbs it looked an felt like a toy, so I returned it an went w the x7....It felt like for 500$ this scooter has excellent value an competes w alot of high range 1000 $ + scooters..felt good about the purchase, granted I haven't received it yet, keeping my fingers crossed

About a month in is hitting it's top 20mph speed even when there only 20 % battery life left, well built an sturdy, getting almost 20 miles on a full charge an I'm 220 lbs plus my gym bag helmet make me about 250lbs ....it's resilient in the rain , tires are holding up, only 500$ and no issues so far , consistently hitting 20mph top speed, loving it pal

@@zachfreed4566 well w winter recently ending I've just started taking it out again about a month ago and I can notice a bit of a drop off in battery life.....granted over long winter stretches your supposed to periodically charge it 6 to 8 hours once a week or so even tho your not using it....I wasn't great about doing that...so the little drop off in battery life I attribute to me and the fact I permanently keep the dam thing in it's fastest gear 24/7 which wears it down.....

Hey scooter manufacturers, enough with these little slow and skinny scooters for 12 years olds. I want something that at least rivals the Ninebot Max. Same sleek simple low maintenance body design with dual motors and dual suspension. Period!
