I got a Meepo v1 and have loved it. It was my first board. and yes I've eaten plenty of pavement pushing it's limits. Awesome board. The electronics finally died. I'm ready to finally get a new board, and I'm a huge fan of Meepo. I got my eyes on the Vader. Really interesting about nimbleness. I use to race motorcycles and I felt a similar thing with my Meepo. I could take corners hard and tight because of the flex of the trucks and board. But the Vader sound like a track bike. You have to know your camber, go wide then tight into the corner if you are riding hard. Correct? I'm also 51 and love the fact I can ride in modes to grow through the speeds till I find my limits. great job meepo! fantastic add ons for riders to adapt to there riding style and definitely cool that the new charger is soo advanced. I also think your dkp is the most stable dkp out there and yet still great turning radius for carving and even great on the track

⚠️Beware of Ordering from Meepo! I ordered an electric skateboard from Meepo on July 1st. It has now been over 97 days, and I still haven’t received my product. Customer service has been unresponsive, giving me false promises and no real solutions. I’ve requested a refund due to the excessive delay, but I’m still waiting for any action. If you’re thinking of buying from Meepo, be prepared for long waits, poor communication, and potentially not receiving your order at all. Proceed with caution!

Love my Vader. The only issue with the gear drive is getting pulleys that fit wheels. You will chew up wheels with the power it’s got. I ride pretty good and it’s been 6 months and I need new rubber. Btw go straight the store and buy the bones Swiss ceramics bearings. Yes it’s expensive. Buy it and don’t look back. 🤙

It's definitely a beautiful board 🛹. I have two boards. The Envy and the Flow. I love them both. Especially for the price. But this board is just too much. Especially since there are so many boards that compare but have a better price. I hope Meepo doesn't start going off the rails with the cost of their products.

🤙🏼⚡ *Great review* ⚡🤙🏼 I defo prefer the blackout look of the Vader 👌🏼 I really enjoy Meepo's DKP trucks, they feel more precise and smoother than my Verreal DKP trucks. It's great that they offer and even include a TKP baseplate for people who wanna try that. Easy to change bushings in the front and make it more nimble, yet still maintain some stability.

I have the hurricane with DKP, and with riptide bushings, set up for carve, it is incredibly stable as well. Would recommend it to anyone.

No idea how yours topped out at 28mph. I’m 106kg/233lb so a heavy guy and I comfortably hit 30. Most I’ve got is 32 with a long straight. With some large urethane wheels and a 26t pulley it can hit over 40mph. Not that you need to go that quick of course.

I've got a JKing Jupiter that does 31 mph pretty steady while I'm at full speed, flat ground, and I get probably 18 miles out of it, depending how hard I ride, love my board but I'm definitely wanting an off road, 4 wheel drive just like this one. Just a matter of throwing all that money down at once😑, website says they'll take it in 4 equal payments tho, ride now pay late I suppose, they're really tempting me to do that haha, my wife will kill me, I've had this one maybe 3 months, and already looking at the next one😂

I think the board you tested was a little faulty because mine went exactly the speed limit within 2 sec. I never had any problems. Just lyk

Yeah I have a hurricane ultra bamboo, with the cyclone 165s wheels, and mine reaches 28 with absolute ease. When I really pushed it I hit 32mph with no issues, I weigh 106kg/233lb. There’s not a chance this guys hurricane is topping out at 28mph.

Not sure why people are buying these. The moment you get around $1500, there's an entire category of boards that are much better built, much better components and much more range. Mboards Endurance for example is $1700 and they use a 12s8p, literally getting 60-70mi range and have a ton of power. They're also hand built in Las Vegas and customer service is super easy to get a hold of.
