Fun fact actually, you can get electrum nuggets by grinding Tuff in a crushing wheel, so you can still get Electrum. Just, a lot slower than if you just had silver.

It's interesting how some of the best Mods don't add in new bosses or enemies, instead just adding to existing features or creating a new system to work with. Shows that not everything has to be a fight, which is kinda a big thing in Sandbox Open-World games, finding alternate paths. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see some Add-Ons to these Mods that create combat-oriented systems for those of us that like the asthetic but want more to it, but I ain't complaining with what we've got. Good job to all Mod makers, you do a good job

Be aware: you must use this mod's zinc sheets to make capacitors. You cannot use a different zinc sheet/plate from a different mod.

I quite enjoy some of the stuff in this mod but I've always felt like the motor and alternator are a bit op and prefer using the generator coils from new age. Patiently waiting for more vintage story

That zombies path through the barbed wire might actually be a bug. Zombie pathing has awareness of damaging blocks and won't walk over sources of damage if there's another path it can find. Given that minecraft is VERY bad about actually making things clear, I'm quite sure it would take a stupid amount of work to even FIND the code responcible, and fix this... and thus not "bug" and "feature" instead. Offhand I can think of two places in minecraft that would need alteration, that others might be depending on... so it might be something to poke forge about turning into a flag... anyway, out of the scope of this video, that is sure.

Oh yo! Have you tested how well this works with Immersive Engineering? Like could I potentially use my IE generator to power Create machines? Cuz like. It would be so nice to have that kind of compatibility between the two mods, especially since I frequently see them packaged together.

In All of Fabric 7 they have Hephaestus (Tinkers) and you can make the sheets and rods in the Forge. Must easier since you can bulk process them. You need a lot of plates for the motors. I am making a bunch of motors right now to power some of the standalone contraptions I have. In AOF7, you can pair the motors with Powah basic solar and glass fiber cables. Works well. I need to try and build a solar array and see if I can connect the motors up to the array with the connectors.

Something I didn’t really notice in this video was the effects of torque and how that translates to the input and output of the alternator and motor respectively. You had a steady 32 rpm going into the alternator, but how much torque was that? Does that get detected along with the speed of the alternator, or is it only the speed that dictates the power generated? And likewise, the motor put out 24 rpm with a stable power flow… but how much torque was there?

Easiest way to tell is to slap the Stressometer from base Create on there. SU is basically torque, as far as I can tell. The way Create works, if you overload the system, it just shuts down entirely until you add more rotation generators.
