some people said that Lovebites is just like any other metal band in Japan, but to be honest they are "different and special."

my favorite part of this video is the faces midori makes at the audience when she is ripping her solo. if it's at all possible to be goofy and drop dead sexy at the same time she's got it ! my favorite song from pentagram. but only by a whisker because EVERY song is epic. they are like band maid in that respect. just try to find one bad song. i dare ya !

Well you want diversity, here let's do an a$$ kicking old Rock N Roll song that shakes the rafters and gets everyone up and out of their seats. This band is EPIC no matter what they play. These women don't know how to be anything but flawless and awesome at the same time!!! What is really impressive is that they are actually enjoying themselves and love playing with one another and it shows. The energy level at this concert reminds me of the old AC/DC concerts where you couldn't hear, talk or walk straight for days after the show and these women bring that energy level to every performance I have seen from them. BTW let's hear it for Midori's headbanging at the end!!!!!

I love the fact that they've studied and learned from the best and tehy just incorporate it all to their own thing. They're proud of the legacy of metal and they do it a lot of homage. I wish bands did it more, i mean too many try to be way too "modern" and "different" and are not proud standing on shoulders of giants. These girls know exactly on who's shoulders they stand and that's why they're very good at it. :)

@@realdocloco I agree 100%. If they were to change out 1 member I don't think it would be Lovebites anymore. Miho and Haruna create a rock solid foundation that manages to contain the chaos that Miyako and Midori want to create while Asami floats gracefully around the stage belting out face melting vocals. Def Nikki Sixx. More Mick Mars than I remembered. Still can’t place the vocals, the cadence, and swag lyrics (she sings “who are those chicks on stage, gonna knock you out”). But a reference I say was overlooked, one word : Zakk MF Wylde
@RockyHarder4 жыл бұрын
Yes!! Definitely some Zakk coming out of that riff
@overtheedge47114 жыл бұрын
Yeah the pinch harmonics are definitely a Wylde trademark (I think he overuses them with Ozzy--but it's probably what Ozzy wants-so it is what it is). That was the first thing that caught my ear when I first got the album and heard this song (which btw is my fave on the album, but not by much!!). I think the wah solo Mi-ya does is more Phil Campbell (maybe even Fast Eddie!!) of Motorhead than Mick Mars, but whatever the influences are, it's one hell of a great song. Brings tears of joy to this old metalhead's eyes!!
