Three very talented musicians who do things their way. Christopher is one of the best bassists on the planet, Dominic on drums and the insanely talented Matt. His vocal range I hate to say it competes with Freddie Mercury and I worship Freddie.

Distortion! Guitar and especially bass. It’s what makes them sound so big even without their sideman (Morgan Nichols at that time). See some of their earlier live performances when it really was just three of them, and you’ll be equally blown away.

Matt Bellamy's voice sets them apart for me. Very unique, especially with his falsetto. And there's an infectious energy to their songs.

I've seen them a couple of times live and it's always an amazing atmosphere at the live shows.. I don't know how many friends I have "converted" by taking dragging them along to the concerts ;) ..what's interesting with Muse is not only their creativity about the music itself, but also their instruments. As you can hear, Matt does not just use a "typical" distorted guitar sound, but he uses custom built guitars with MIDI capability and touch-sensors that can control other external sound modules (like a synthesizer could), so they can incorporate i.e. the bell-like sound during the verse or the squealing noise at the beginning.. it's just overall "out of the box"-thinking and quite amazing

10:00 I forget the keyboardist’s name, but he’s essentially the fourth member of the band. As I understand it, the only reason he’s not “officially” in the band is that he doesn’t want the fame, but AFAIK, they’ve always toured with him and he has a standing offer to officially join if he changes his mind.

Hey guys. I have no idea if you’ll see this but I’ve watched a number of your videos and always enjoy your reactions. I’m a long-time Muse fan and their energy is off the charts. I wanted to suggest something. If you’re interested in discovering new bands - I highly recommend watching The Warning next, and seeing them perform live. They're 3 young sisters (20-24 years old) from Mexico (who sing mostly in English) and blend classic rock, hard rock, grunge and metal. As siblings yourself, you might relate. Plus, they're very dynamic and charismatic on stage. And - as a bonus - they opened for Muse multiple times in 2024. Check out “Evolve” from the 2023 MTV VMAs, “Hell You Call a Dream” from Pepsi Center, or “Automatic Sun” from Pol’and Rocks (played in front of over 100K people at that festival). The first two titles can be found on The Warning’s YT channel. Cheers!

I'd love to see a. Muse, Raye album I think it would be amazing. Great reaction. Muse are certainly one of a kind.. If you get chance, would be great if you could react to a band called The Warning. 3 sisters from Mexico.
