That was a lot of work for something that is easier to fix. Different DC voltages use different size connectors.Since this is a 12vdc output it uses a 5.5mm x 2.5mm jack. The most common size you are mentioning is the 5.5mm x 2.1mm which is the standard size for 9vdc guitar pedals and CCTV systems. Adapters are available to convert 5.5mm x 2.5mm to 5.5mm x 2.1mm. I'm not sure where you are getting the 5.6mm measurement from but I know the jack is 5.5mm x 2.5mm and I'm using just such an adapter for my Everse 8 without any problems.

Its a 5.6mm ad stated in the manual.

@@djsupafly1 It may state 5.6mm in the manual (I believe that is a typo) but mine measures out for a 5.5mm barrel and 5.5mm cables fit snug and work great. Have had zero problems with using the 5.5mm x 2.5mm cables. Also, the cable that came with the tray fits all my 2.5mm jacks with no problems and that's why I believe it's a typo in the manual.

@@djsupafly1 I don't know what to tell you. I'm currently using a 5.5mm x 2.5mm to 5.5mm x 2.1mm right angle adapter with a 5.5mm x 2.1mm cable right now and it works perfectly fine. I have 4 other cables and they all work fine. I bought my adapters and cables from Amazon and one from eBay so they're not expensive brand name items. Again, I don't know why all mine work and yours don't!

@@djsupafly1 I should also state that your way works fine it just takes a little work. I would say to anyone reading this thread to first check and see if a 5.5mm x 2.5mm cable or adapter will work for you and if it doesn't then do the mod as shown in the video.

DC POWER OUT - DC power output jack for use with the 5.5 mm outer diameter and 2.5 mm inner diameter DC power cable included with the EVERSE-TRAY accessory. The DC POWER OUT jack is capable of powering a wireless microphone receiver which uses a center pin positive polarity and draws 500mA or less at 12 Volts DC, such as the Electro- Voice RE3 or R300 wireless microphone receiver.

Hello again. I live in Russia. There is no one to ask. The battery life of my Everse 8 with all three channels at the same time: microphone, guitar, soundtracks at high volume lasts less than 3 hours. Does anyone have such a result? Are 6 and 12 o'clock indicated for one channel or for all three?
