Bro I have 2 questions? The platters are bigger than the rev 7 ? And The pads are like the Rane one ? Or has the same colors of the rev 7 ? Because the old Rane products has different system of colors than the pioneer products, Ex: U can see de purple difference between tons on Rane...

@@thailothedj the platters are a bit bigger and the pads are very different. They bounce back unlike the Rev 7 ones. I'm not quite sure about the lights as they seem the same to me. I have them at the lowest brightness setting.

My Performers cross fader has great bounce & glide. It bounces twice then almost back to the middle

How do you turn off the raspberry pi at the end of the event? Overtime you may end up corrupting your SD card if you do a hard stop. Since SD corrupting happens frequent on raspberry pi’s you may want to keep a spare as card with the same setup so you can swap them when one fails.

@@jmjessica use a usb-c hub that has ethernet (and power delivery) port and connect the usb-c end to the iPad and use an ethernet cable to the router.

So we did everything in your other video, but for some reason when trying to print straight from the camera role we don’t actually have a 4x6 print option, the only option that actually works is 4 x 4. Do you know what print driver is installed for your dnp via cups? Like the version?

yea we have it kids cant get near the dj area at all , and request are $100 dollars ea ........we have programs and we cant have request we are renting for the night and cant have request at all.....and have sighs no request unless they pay in $$$ they can do that at home ........ssssssssss we dont have time for that and all so we want to keep it in the mix !!!!!! , i dont see why someone all ways trys to ask alot of the songs dj pools dont have them , we had it someone would come up and with there cell phone play this there was this dj who said once go to your car and play that ,

This will work with the Rane 4 controller Channel’s 9/10 deck left and 11/12 for right only problem is the mixer effects Like internal don’t work using the paddle

do you notice the rane performer platters are way heavier than rev7..is hard to spin back and scratch freely..i tried it at a store and didnt like the platters..it felt so heavy

@@mark213e you install the drivers from rane's website, install the latest serato and have tried a different usb cable? It could also be the usb-c adapter required for macbooks.

This is great! Works with my DNP Ds620A. The only thing that isn’t working is printing 2x6. I have luma setup to do 2x6 and print 2 per page but when I select 2 prints only 1 is printed. If I select 4, 2 are printed. Any idea how to fix this?

This a CUPS issue. I'm still trying to find the command to allow the 2x6 cuts. 4x6 is the default method as of now.

Hopefully others who have this same issue will see this as well but after a lot of testing I found a solution. In lumabooth > Print Layout, I have set the paper size to 2x6 600 by 1800 px and UNCHECKED print 2 per page. In CUPS, I have set the default to 2x6 300x300 resolution and everything seems to be working correctly. Thanks again for your video! It was a great help!

Basically - Pioneer need to put motors on the Opus Qaud and improve the build qaulity/design then its all done. Couple more years I guess. I like the fact rekordbox usb work with rev7 laptop though.

Can you activate split pad mode on the Performer like you can on Pioneer mixers? On my s7 I can press 2 modes at same time and it will split across 8 pads
