A question if you have a moment please. When you turn it on do you have a slight hiss ( Even with nothing connected to the imputs) ? Mine arrived today and I thought it would be silent. When I plug it into the mains a slight hum is also introduced. It’s not awful by any means but if I chose to mic it up then it could be distracting to the listeners. Many thanks of you reply appreciated.

Higher input gain settings and volume will cause hiss. You can check those first. You also can use the XLR output to connect to a bigger PA instead of mic'ing it

I have recently acquired two Everse 8s and want to simultaneously use (1) A single wireless microphone connected to one unit but working on both units (the two units can be connected by an XLR cable but is there any good quality lossless wireless unit that can be used instead?) (2) A stereo keyboard connected to both speakers using them stereophonically ie Left and Right Speaker. Any advice on how to set this up without using an external mixer?

(1) You can try one of those XLR digital lwireless units like the XVive U3 sweetwater.sjv.io/XmYVea For (2) you need a mixer for true stereo

Does the EV Everse 8 need a preamp so your electric guitar doesn’t sound so tinny like the wireless S1 Bose pro

Yes, you need an amp modeler/cab simulation on this as well as the S1

Hello again. I live in Russia. There is no one to ask. The battery life with all three channels: microphone, guitar, soundtracks at high volume lasts a maximum of 3 hours. Does anyone have such a result? Are 6 and 12 o'clock indicated for one channel or for all three?

Yes. Channel 1 has phantom power but Channel 2 can handle high-z instruments so even passive instruments work. The FX sectionj offers general stuff like reverb, chorus and comp, manageable by the EV app on your phone. But I would still use a guitar preamp.

Hi, great review! What 12V powered wireless mike system are you using and would you recomment it? Is there a BATTERY powered audio mixer with effects you know of and would use if necessary? Sorry for these questions but looking to do a battery powered setup for my special needs very musical daughter. It has to be fully portable so she could perform wherever even on the beach without power. Thank you and anyone reading this.

with EV being in kahoots with Dynacord I would suggest the on board mixer and fx will be top notch and with the added footswitch option this makes this speaker a killer for singers - I'm defintely selling off my JBL Eon compact to buy one of these now. PS if you did need a mixer the 12v output on the everse8 would power most smaller mixers yam mackie alesis etc
