That vacuum is the same one my uncle has, but branded eureka made in Mexico he got new in 2000 something that replaced a hoover dimension based dirt finder upright vacuum and still has it but taped around the upper bin from years of use.

Not seen one of these Electrolux for a long time, I think the filter hole is a suction release valve in case of blockages. Good video as always 👍🏽

I had this exact model from Eureka before I donated to a friend in need of mine. These vacuums can use a sealed post HEPA filter, or at least mine did.

These machines are awesome! I have a yellow Eureka one and it's a tank! They still make these, at least in the US, under the Sanitare name, they are quite expensive though.
