In this video, we will look at the electromagnetic spectrum and how frequency, wavelength and energy are related, as well as the way in which EMR can be described as both partice-like and wave-like. I also describe how this radiation excites electrons at an atomic level.

Ps that plasma expermient of low and high voltage works sort of like radio tube amplification... Except with out the radio tube example half watt high voltage can make a ark at super low amperage useing half watt of power that "high voltage "starter ark" is very conductive and when done in xeon tube can allow a dc ark of much higher amperage at far lower voltage like say 120-165 volts dc too ride the low watage ark at higher voltage... This allows the higher amperage too signifiglently intencify the high voltage ark at the lower voltage in parralel (useing high voltage diodes too avoid cross feed back) at the higher amperage with far less voltage drop across high voltage ark and carry the lower voltage across it with much higher amperage as if its a conductive wire filliment.

dont know if ull reply but I gave a question... i understand the "excited" electron thing, though when gammy rays (electromagnetic waves) makes contact with an electron it also knocks it off thus ionising the atom... I'm a bit confused that electrons can gain energy but also be knocked off by it

Hold on, how does an atom get de-excited? You explained how it can get excited but then how can it un-excited. That's the part that I'm looking for!

Oh that plasma expermients sort of like low voltage lightning across the high voltage ark at low amperage... When i say like lightning i mean like lightning! Use extream caution if recreating this expermient.

Oh other neat fact of science high voltage plasma makes a conduit that wants alllow a lowervoltage (parraleled with high voltage diodes in parrallel dc) at a signifigently higher amperage too "RIDE" THE LOW AMP HIGH VOLTAGE PLASMA STREAM KIND OF LIKE A WIRE... BEWARE IT MAKES MUCH MORE INTENCE PLASMA WITH LOWER VOLTAGE HIGHER AMP STREAM RIDING SAME PLASMA ARK GENERATED BY THE HIGH VOLTAGE LOW AMPERAGE... IT CARRYS THE CURRENT KIND OF LIKE A WIRE... ALSO SORT OF NEAT TOO SEE..
