Dear Jeffrey, I have a question: In your example you eliminated the B from the 3rd equation and the result was a wave equation for the electric field, e.g. an electric wave. But since we are speaking about electromagnetic waves, shouldn't there also be a wave equation for the magnetic field as well?

yes if you do the same process but start from equation 4(the curl of the magnetic field) you end up with a similar expression for the magnetic field

@@paokaraforlife The magnetic field has a smaller amplitude than the electric field but both are in phase with each other.

Your video is incorrect, you must add the concept complex permitivity to reduce de curl B ecuation to ue dE/dt. Moreover it is important to add the fasor terminology to explain correct.

Because they are transferred to the other side of the equation. Or another explanation is - both sides of the equation is divided by meu and epsilon naught.
