Wow, that's honestly the most stunning electron microscope animation I've ever seen 🤯 Your technique of getting a continuous zoom with discrete input worked really well. Love the video, love the way you use the SEM, reminds me of when we built the SEM in the garage by cutting the screen of the old oscilloscope (you get x-y control for free) and mounting it into the vacuum chamber to inspect flat panel display traces (if you energize them you can see them - sem can pick up 5V difference in float voltage). We got very wide field of view (>10cm) at high enough resolution. Post more!

Thanks so much for these videos , it's amazing how important these videos are. There is a complete lack of good information on the graphene manufacturing process and carbon fiber. Almost everything is glossed over, hard to find or inscrutable. Like just looking into carbon fiber means having to sift through the mountains of "DIY carbon-fiber" thats about bloody vinyl stickers. But here you *literally* show discrete parts of it, thanks.

Carbon nanotube-coated kevlar armor has been on the market for years. The coating greatly improves the kevlar's structural integrity and shelf life, even making it waterproof. Bullets that are stopped by the kevlar weave tend to embed themselves in the material, but the coated armor can protect it enough for bullets to bounce or barely stick to the vest itself.

I have to say, any one of your videos would have me thinking the person behind it was very well versed in the subjects being discussed. But to see how many subjects you cover, and at the depth/degree you dive into them, it is really very humbling I must say. Most science video channels I don't feel intimidated at all, but this channel is a different story. You have to be one of the very brightest people on youtube. Again, namely because i don't think i have seen another channel that goes into the same depth on such a breadth of subjects. I don't know of another channel that comes close. Glad to see your subscriptions are growing, well deserved... thanks again for producing these, super interesting stuff...

This reminds me of an old demo my dad talks about from the days when he worked as a media technician for the lecturers at Harvard. The professor would pull a continuous polymer thread from the meniscus between two liquids in a beaker, and spin it on a spool until there was no liquid left. I always imagine that to look just like this animation did!

A stepper motor on the stage control triggered by "frame complete" would be so cool......... oh you just said that as I was typing. The duration of the animations that you can get manually kind of reminds me of doing computer animation back in the 386/MS DOS days.
