Nadia is someone with a very positive and wonderful personality. An inspiration who can motivate people to achieve goals just like her. As she says herself, music is not just making a structure but also bringing a story. The music she makes definitely contains a story. Keep up the good work because you are a great artist.

So glad i found your channel from watching 'bo beats' you tube channel. So many interesting bits over a wide range of music related subjects on your channel. I have to listen to my music with headphones (DT770pro) because it annoys the wife who is unfortunately not into synths. I am always annoyed when you get people say you got to listen to your music on a very expensive speakers in a studio like room, yeah, ok if you can afford it, music always sound good through my headphones, right down to the low end. Hey, one thing you got that the wife likes, and that is your patterned cover/material you use to cover your table of instruments up with and wrapping them when your mobile. Little things you said in previous vids like using more software and Daw stuff because of hardware issues, I thought it was just me, every time I switch on hardware it takes me ages to get it working again, then it just stops talking to anything. Can't wait for the next awesome Nadia post🎶🎧🎹

Lovely collection of gear , but she has a real good point about “telling a good story”! Huge inspiration the way she thinks. I like the perspective about monitoring what our work sounds like on what people listen to it on rather than what a few 1% of people listen on. I do use specific gear for tuning bass and making major adjustments because it will be like wack a mole game if using different speakers, but much of this as possible should all come at the end anyhow. Like she says, “the story” is the most important part. I needed to hear this JUST TODAY, cuz I spent all morning trying to select new headphones🤡

excellent video, especially the bit about arrangement and telling a story being the most important part. This is what concerns me about stems...ive been DJing and producing for 35 years, and great producers (for me, Kerri Chandler, Heard, Ron Trent, Huckaby, Kevorkian, Patrice Scott, MAW etc) are ALWAYS uniquely skilled arrangers...so the concept behind stems seems to completely ignore how important arrangement is. Obviously, stems suit certain styles of music more than others, like Techno, but I think there is a risk people could really lose the context that arrangement brings to the table....just my thoughts anyway 😉

Music is always a matter of taste. And many sounds or styles from more experimental music often only find their way into "normal" club music or the mainstream much later. They are just different listening habits. We are happy about every artist who produces outside the norm, even if it is difficult fare for many at first. Fortunately, there is so much music that everyone can find what they like.

As interesting as these videos are I wouldnt suggest people new to production try to copy what they see here unless they have a lot of money to spend on gear and space to store and use it. The fact that you can simply add EQ, Delays, Reverb etc on every track in Ableton without much thought when if you were to copy this with hardware you will soon see why most people stick to software.
