Do you mean to say that for closest dist, we have 2 levels, which merge into 1 as distance increases and Later levels become 2 when distance is further increased?

Sir, have a doubt about the conduction band formation you didn't account for d-sub shell which are empty. You assume only 8N states in which 4 are filled and 4 doesn't

Sir this conduction and valancy band analysis we are doing for single atom? or a small peace of semi conductor Can u explain sir
@UnacademyFlux6 жыл бұрын
Seetha Sudheer , for explanation we have to take single silicon atom..but when actually take p type or n type semiconductor then it is millions of si atoms will be there

Sir, at 12:36 how is it 8N, 4N ?
@Rajesh_Antil7 жыл бұрын
in 8n states there are 4n electrons in 2n states there are 2n electrons and in 6n states there are 2n electrons so 2n+2n=4n electrons & 2n+6n=8n states i think it's clear!

What exactly happens ? And how the energy levels become a single energy band when we bring more silicon atoms closer. And how again become two different bands??.. what's internal mechanism behind it
@UnacademyFlux6 жыл бұрын
Nikhilesh Badgujar see when we bring more atoms closer..some valence electrons are tightly bounded to the nuclues and some electrons are loosely bound..so we consider the tightly bounded electrons Valence band and loosely bounded are conduction band
@radhikasingh40656 жыл бұрын
Learning Is Everything I think sir according to u the behavior of valanced electron is not fixed,valanced electron are bounded with same attraction foce with nucleus for all silicon atoms

Hii, Sorry this question does not belong to this part of lecture.. But I need this answer. Section 4: Signals and Systems Representation of continuous and discrete‐time signals, Shifting and scaling operations, Linear Time Invariant and Causal systems, "Fourier series representation of continuous periodic signals", Sampling theorem, Applications of Fourier Transform, Laplace Transform and z-Transform. This is for Electrical syllabus. My question is Do we need to learn DTFT? DFT? and Filters? Please could you check on this Thanks in advance.
@UnacademyFlux7 жыл бұрын
No you don't need to study DTFT, DFT, FFT and Filters.
