Hello, is the distributor to spark plug cables are in the same order for Lada Niva 1600 or should I make them number 1 to plug 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3, 4 to 4? In your video you connect them in different order.

Хорошая штука . А люди всю жизнь мучались с контактами и конденсаторами . Кстати , зажигание надо устанавливать не по стробоскопу , а вживую . У каждой машины свой оптимальный угол зажигания , обусловленный комплексом характеристик этого конкретного мотора .

@@hamidmj7038 You do not need use this instrument which has name Stroboscope. There is the method described in the factory's manual for Lada, which tells how to adjust the ignition advance. 1. Fulfill the tank with petrol octane 92. 2. Make test driving the car: drive the car with speed 40 km/h, put the 4-th gear, and push the accelerator pedal to the bottom - give the maximum gas. While the car begins its acceleration, you MUST hear the detonation sounds which SHOULD pass, dismiss shortly - after 60 km/h. If the detonation does not pass - your advance is too big, too early ignition. If you did not hear the detonation at all - your advance is too late. 3. Correct the advance and repeat the driving test. It is the most correct adjustment method.

@@hamidmj7038 Why we have to orient , rely on this detonation sounds at 40 km/h: because it is the "Edge of detonation zone" ! The correct adjustment - it is when we put as early advance as possible, come near to the Detonatione Zone of ignition. Why to use 92 octane: because manufacturer designed compression ratio 8.5 corresponding to using 92 octane. If using 95 98 octane, you will not get detonation sounds and you will make over advance. The motor will not detonate but will not perform the best!

Они не русские, что с них взять? :))) Знаешь как в Чехии запускают холодный двигатель? - они снимают крышку кастрюли, ЗАЛИВАЮТ В ОБА ГОРЛЫШКА КАРБЮРАТОРА бензин!!! И бегут заводить :)))) тут есть коллекционер - Tomas' cars - у него аж 5 Жигулей! И он все их так заводит :)))
