electronic ignition for my 85 Moto Guzzi Cal II - Dynatec Installation

The mechanical ignition and timing system for my Moto guzzi didn’t work that great.
1. the contact points are slightly different so I had to file the holes larger to get more adjustment room
2. also filing had its limits so my right cylinder fired a bit too late and the left cylinder too early
3. after a couple miles of driving the guzzi sputtered again
I love my guzzi so I bought a Dynatec Dyna iii electronic ignition.
This video shows how to install the Dyna iii on an old guzzi.
A) it’s relatively easy to install so inexperienced folks like me can do it
B) it works great

Yeah, I'm still struggling to understand the initiator settings and the timing steps for the Dyna kit on a BMW...

I called their hotline and the guy on the phone was super patient and really helped. The instructions for the Dynatec could still be a bit better I think.
