I'm French and I've got this ! I love this boardgame. I play frequently with my sons. Since 1992 it work fine. Sometimes when you finish your 6 buy , the electronic-box say : "You forgot your car-light ! go in your parking" = WIIIIIIN !

I'm so glad you reviewed this underated game! I'd never played it before (because of how girly it looks) but my wife had the game when she was younger and wanted to relive it so I bought it for her a couple of Christmases ago. I reluctantly played it with her and immediately fell in love. I request it almost every game night now. I'm pretty sure I love it more than my wife does. 😂 Love the channel, Luke! I didn't know they made a British version. I'm glad you showed close ups of the older board with the marble tile floors. I have the US yellow box. I keep saying it's Milton Bradley's Dark Tower for girls lol (I have that too. Both have an electronic centerpiece)

haha, I play this with my mates and against my brother and my dad, it gets competitive! Yeah I was aware with the later yellow version, the speaker unit was slightly redesigned, the escalators have little hand rails right? It's a nice copy

@@downfromtheattic yeah it's nice looking unit. I had a hard time getting a couple of the railings on so I left them off and kept the ones in teh center on it looks fine. They released a new one it's a single level and a small round electronic box but the voice actors are similar to the yellow box which are more youthful. the yellow box girl gets annoyed when you can't press the button fast enough since the storefront art is nice but busy so it's hard to find where to put the sale signs. the kid who says 'sorry try again later' sounds like a slacker lol I've yet to try the fan Zombie variants on BGG.

Just found the 2004 version at goodwill for 3 bucks only missing 1 player card and 1 store front piece still playable and so much fun my family loves it but after viewing the original here I really wish I could find this one for a good price for the board is sooo much more amazing than the 2004 but at least the 2004 is way much prettier than the 2020 version wich is so cheap looking

That is a real bargain! Mine's missing the blue player but if you're hunting for a spare, the same play pieces are used in the Goosebumps board games from the 90s :) can find them easier on eBay

It reminds me of another girly game, dream phone, it’s really more like a cool detective game, well except the fact that it can turn Sentient and kills your friends and then get blamed for a murder you didn’t do but how could you blame them, your saying that a plastic phone from a girls game killed your friends and by the time you know it your playing real life hangman
