kay k totally agree 💯. I would like to see techno DJ’s get into more of the philosophy of their music choices and talk about their perspective of music theory (or maybe their abandonment of theory altogether). Whereas I did not dig his choices at all I have respect in that it’s very apparent he ❤️music!

Ah Daniel Wang, one of my favourite DJ's. Always a treat to have him play at a party. He's also very interesting when he shares his musical knowledge, a real disco professor indeed! A very likable guy also who looks great at 50, he still has this boyish charm, I met him last year when he was playing @HOMOOST, a gay night hosted by club OOST, a great club in the city of Groningen, that's in the north of the Netherlands. I was dancing & grooving like a mad man when he was playing. When he was done, he didn't leave, but stayed to dance, When i wanted to shake his hand on the dancefloor, he cuddled me instead, what a sweetheart! (to think that i was all sweaty & half naked). Daniel doesn't shy away to incorparate housegrooves in his DJ sets and productions, but the backbone of all this music is disco. This episode of 5 favourite B-sides, proves why he one of the few Disco Dons, a DJ who always gets me moving & grooving with a big smile on my face. This episode I will defenitely watch again. Great upload!
