already happening. renaissance are big on re-releasing some classics with new remixes. pete lazonby's 'sacred cycles' has been retouched by adam beyer for example. bonzai are running are series of re-issues as well these days.

Fax stuff has some of the greatest clarity i've ever heard in electronic music and i've been in the thick of it for 35 years.

There was a big cheesy remix of that track titled something else, maybe Titanic, that was a bit more eurodancey IIRC. That's probably what you heard as a child, and simply remember the melody.

I feel that 2020 with covid and everyone home for the most part made people explore the internet and come thru to the Classic/progressive trance genre. Either brought back nostalgia to the people that grew up within that scene or brought a new light to the younger generation. I hope that something major happens in marketing the classics to the masses and we get it back in full swing.
