Danke YELLO für Eure schönen Kompositionen - alles passt - die Frequenzen an der heimischen Anlage stimmen, die Mimik ist toll - die Liveauftritte super - weiter so. Es bereichert mich sehr. Zum Beispiel Yello On track (Doug Laurent´s first Journey) gefällt mir ganz besonders mit dem Video. Ich höre es immer wieder an. VIELEN DANK !!!

I've always been a Yello fan, I was particularly impressed by the depth of sound that Boris and Dieter conjure up. Every song has a certain humor and a deep melancholy. No other band I know manages that.

I have infinite respect not only for their talent, but for their unique friendship which is amazing how two people with two I'm sure different points of view can actually understand and listen to each other to make all the magic. Atleast both Baby and Essential became very popular for hifi-tests back in the 90's, they were all over the place. I remember seeing them used on national level carstereo-testings and competitions back then, both here in Norway and Denmark. They've always been popular to use as a reference to sound quality. About single sounds, it IS possible that Boris' collection (which later was released as a package called Electrified), was used for that purpose, although there's still melodies, but more instrumentals and shorter songs. Finally, they were also hired to do various levels of commercial work, where "The Race" is the most known example (atleast it started out as that).
