Very nice presentation. Good reference to starting a study on these converters.

zeta 09:00 what frequency do you use sir? i try do simulation in proteus but not work for boost
@FesZElectronics3 жыл бұрын
I used 50KHz in the simulations but frequency will depend on the components you used. On the other hand to get the converter to boost - output higher than input or buck - output lower than input depends on the duty cycle not switching frequency. Try playing around with the duty cycle - above and below 50%.

Is this possible to use mosfet instead diode in cuk converter? Something similar to 4 switch buck boost
@FesZElectronics3 жыл бұрын
It should be possible, but its just difficult to achieve - the driving circuit is difficult to build. Its a similar story to the synchronous boost - it can be done, but it ends up being to complicated and expensive in most cases, so a simple diode is good enough.

@@FesZElectronics simple diode is not enough for my ~25A up to 10V project
@FesZElectronics3 жыл бұрын
As long as you have a driver that can supply the out of phase signal (in reference to the initial switch) and dead time, you could either drive a Pmos transistors with a negative signal (negative voltage in reference to GND); or use either P or Nmos with an isolation transformer.

Pls tell about combined cuk and sepic converter
@FesZElectronics5 жыл бұрын
Interesting topic! I was not aware you can make a diferential supply by combining a Cuk and Sepic onto a single switching node. I did however make a diferential supply using a boost and buck boost in one of my old videos.

It's LTspice. That is what I use in all my videos.
